How are Yuvara sunglasses designed for Asian facial features?

Standard eyewear is made for higher nose bridges and narrower facial angles, which can cause slipping or cheek marks. Studio Yuvara frames are engineered differently:

  • Lower bridge placement so the frame sits higher on the face
  • Integrated acetate nose pads for secure comfort
  • Slight cheek clearance and balanced weight across the temples
  • Refined pantoscopic tilt to ensure the lenses rest naturally, not forward

The result: a frame that looks elegant and feels effortless from the first wear.

Do you offer different sizes?

Each style is available in one carefully balanced size designed to fit a range of face widths typical of Asian and mixed facial structures. You can check the Find Your Fit guide or product specifications for exact measurements and fit recommendations.

What materials are your frames and lenses made from?

We use premium acetate frames for durability, comfort and refined finish. Our lenses are high-clarity nylon with 100 % UV protection for style and safety.

Can non-Asians wear Studio Yuvara sunglasses?

Absolutely. While Studio Yuvara frames are designed with Asian facial features in mind - lower bridges, fuller cheeks, softer contours - they’re built for comfort and balance on a wide range of faces. Many of our customers simply choose Yuvara because the fit feels more natural than traditional eyewear.

Can I try them before buying?

At this stage we’re an online-only brand, but we make finding your fit simple. Use our Fit Guide to check your frame width using a credit card or see which styles suit your face shape. Plus, with free returns and easy exchanges within 14 days, you can try them risk-free at home.

Can your frames be fitted with prescription lenses?

Our frames are made using premium acetate and can be fitted with prescription lenses by most opticians.  We recommend checking with your optician first, particularly if you have a stronger prescription, to ensure the lens thickness and base curve are suitable. 

 

Though we are confident most of our range of sunglasses can be fitted with prescription lenses, you have 14 days to return the product in its original condition should your optometrist be unable to fit your prescription in and we will provide a full refund.

Do you ship internationally?

No, we currently do not ship internationally but this is something we are working on so please stay tuned.

How long does delivery take within Australia?

Orders are processed within 1-2 business days and shipped with tracking. You’ll receive an email notification once your order is dispatched.  For Standard Shipping, delivery time is usually 2-6 business days depending on your location.  For Express Shipping, delivery time is generally 1-3 business days.

How can I track my order?

After dispatch you’ll receive an email with the tracking number and courier details. You can track directly via the courier’s website using that number.

Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

If your order hasn’t been shipped yet, we can usually update your delivery details. Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and the correct address. Once your parcel has been dispatched, we can’t guarantee changes, but we’ll do our best to assist.

What’s your return policy?

We offer a full refund within 14 days of delivery, as long as the sunglasses are unused, in original packaging and include all accessories. 

 

Sale/promotional items may not be eligible.

 

We will cover all return shipping postage from within Australia as part of our Fit Guarantee.  

Do you offer exchanges?

Yes. If your sunglasses don’t feel quite right, we’re happy to offer an exchange within 14 days of delivery as long as the pair is unworn, in original packaging, and includes all accessories. Just email our team at info@studioyuvara.com.au with your order number and preferred style, and we’ll help you organise the swap.

How should I clean and store my sunglasses?

Store them in the case or pouch provided when not in use. Avoid leaving them in high heat (e.g., dashboard) and clean the lenses with the included cloth - harsh chemicals or rough surfaces can shorten the life of the lenses and frame.

Do your sunglasses come with a warranty?

Yes. Our frames come with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing or material defects (does not cover normal wear, scratches or misuse).
